Mid-Atlantic Sales Representative

Job Summary:
This position calls on prospective clients in the Emergency Medical Service (EMS), healthcare, physician practice and medical transportation industries. The successful candidate will market Rickshaw ™ our non-emergency computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software, a web-based personal health record solution and other related products and services. Sales leads are provided by the company as well as generated from candidate’s network of contacts. Prospects are largely B2B. Therefore, daytime availability is required. Some evenings, weekends and travel may be required. Earning potential at plan is $40k PT, $80k FT.

Organizational Reporting:
This position reports to the Business Development Director.

Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to individuals in EMS, public safety, healthcare & physician practices
  • Follow up via phone, email and in-person as required to close sale
  • Demonstrated ability in previous sales role preferred
  • Must produce consistent, accurate activity and sales reporting using the company’s standardized tracking and reporting tools (including to communicate with senior management and members of the marketing, inside sales and outside sales teams.
  • Keep sales pipeline up-to-date and accurately forecasting future business
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  •  Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook), Internet, and ability to quickly learn new software applications

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Emergency Medical Services or healthcare discipline (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of EMS and/or healthcare industry experience (required)
  • EMT, Paramedic, CAC, dispatcher, RN, LPN or other EMS/healthcare certification or license
  • Have a logical thought process, comfortable with computers & interested in emerging technologies
  • Be passionate about helping EMS and healthcare businesses improve their operation
  • Willingness to sign confidentiality, non-compete and non-disclosure agreement
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean criminal background are required

This is a 100% -commission position with benchmark sales performance measures. Adequate performance meeting the sales plan lead to the potential for full-time employment. Announcement will be posted until position is filled.
